Transmission Medel of Communication
People communicate to express their ideas and feelings or to send information, and ideas contains meaning rather than information. The meaning easily can be distorted or misunderstood by recievers in the precess of interpretaion. People from different social, religios or cultural backgroud perceive the same message quite differntly because they have differnt taste and interest. For example, the message on religious matter may not mean anything whlie it means something powerful that inspire a certain gruop of people.

I think back to the stories where some cultures spit as display of respect where if I were to be spit on I would be livid. Ha, and to eliminate as much chance for misinterpretation by livid I mean: My face would turn so red and would feel like it was on fire just pressing the limits of maximum internal pressure with a likelihood that it would explode. And since my head can not explode the energy would be transfered to my fists.
ReplyDeleteLOL very funny Amelia. I haven't heard of where someone spits on another to show respect. However, in my country, a grandparent is supposed to bite the grandchild's fingers (gently) to say good bye every time they have to leave. I can't imagine how many american kids would hand out their fingers for biting.
