NPR

"National public radio will not regard its audience as a "market" or in terms of its disposable income, but as curious, complex individuals who are looking for some understanding, meaning an joy in the human experience."

I love NPR so much. I grew up listening to it and it's so honest and has the best content that can be found in radio. I love the personalities and all the shows. There's something about familiarity and trust in a particular voice that is like nothing else.

Thank you public broadcasting.

  1. I totally agree with you. One of my favorite shows is Car Talk.

  2. I too am a fan of NPR. While I consider myself a moderate who leans on the conservative side in many issues but also liberal in others, NPR is a joy to listen to. I used to go to foxnews.com but the one sided views are just too much to bear even if I agree with many of them. I hated the “Bush Bashing” of news networks and now cannot stand the “Obama Bashing” that has taken its place.

  3. I agree. I too lean on both sides depending on the issue, and I dislike all the networks nowadays... whether it be FOX, CNN, NBC, or what have you. I think comedians such as Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert are doing the best job of political commentary - they're bashing on everyone! And the best part is, they're not just criticizing everyone. They're criticizing those who need to be criticized without regard to what they might feel or any potential political implications.
