My favorite blog as of today will definitely be the Sartorialist. This is by far my favorite blog. And why is this my favorite blog? Well here are the reasons why. The Sartorialist is a fashion blog by photographer Scott Schuman. The blog consists of photographs taken by Schuman in various locations around the world of people he finds fascinating. This fascination usually begins with the clothes the subject is wearing; whether it be fashionable, avant garde or original. Schuman shows the audience the world he sees through his lenses and there is always a story behind every photograph. Schuman once said that,
"I thought I could shoot people on the street the way designers looked at people, and get and give inspiration to lots of people in the process. My only strategy when I began The Sartorialist was to try and shoot style in a way that I knew most designers hunted for inspiration."[1]
Even though I am an accounting major, I have always been a fan of fashion and I see myself working in the fashion industry someday. So I like to keep up to date about what is going on in the fashion world, especially street fashion because I believe that is where designer's inspirations should come from.
