Favorite Online News Media

My favorite news outlet on the Internet by far has to be the the BBC (http://www.bbc.co.uk/).  I find that most of the American news syndicates put an undue focus on domestic issues, at times they go as far as completely ignoring events that occur outside the United States.  The BBC is my favorite because their stories tend to be more international.  Another reason I favor the BBC is their focus on brevity.  I find that the BBC is able to take a story that is 4 pages long in the New York Times and condense it down to only the essential details.  When I'm reading the news I don't want to be burdened with extraneous information.  The news is not like a novel where details make the story; the news is something we read everyday to stay abreast with what is going on in our world.  I want my information and I want it quickly and precisely!
