Me, Myself and I

Hello everyone!

My name is Queenie and I am a senior Accounting major at Binghamton University. Currently I am outside of the US, well to be more frankly I am in China at the moment. As I have feared and expected, when I first clicked on the link to sign up onto this blog, the website was blocked. None other than the Chinese government. However, luckily most of the expats and many locals have found ways to work around this obstacle by purchasing vpn, and for the creator of these vpn to make a small fortune from it. And so this leads to why I am interested to learn from this class is to be able to see how the global media could have an effect on everyone around the world just like how it effects the way the Chinese government controls the flow of information within the country. I am also very interested to better understand why one story can be told in so many different ways depending on the prospective of the writer and the audience. So to conclude, I am very much looking forward to what interesting things will turn up during this course.
