Me, Myself and I

Hi, my name is Daniel Fuschillo, I am a Sophomore in the School of Management and from Merrick, New York. I recently took a SOM class called MIS (Management Information Systems), which explores how different industries utilize the Internet and various other technologies. In my studies, a large portion was focused on how websites such as Facebook and Twitter reach out to the consumer as well as the various dynamics that these websites provide. This class allowed me to discover a profound interest in these social networking sites as they have become an overwhelming part of todays society. I am also vastly intrigued by the ability of these websites to continue to replace newspapers as a medium for information. News can now be reported in 140 characters or less; an amazement in its own right. I am looking forward to this course and all of its offerings.
