How do you know about your world?

I tend to find most of my newsworthy stories from a variety of sources. Every now and then I’ll flip through the channels on my television and stop on the Daily Show with Jon Stewart to see what he’s talking about. But most information I find from using my computer. Checking the New York Times website has become a daily occurrence to see what’s going on in the world, good and bad. I also find a number of thought invoking websites through the use of Stumbleupon.com. While there is a lot of poor subject matter the site finds, some of it is very interesting and I constantly find myself sending links from the website to my friends. Other than that, I guess you can count facebook as a source of social news. While the majority of the news is irrelevant to my everyday life, I guess it still counts.
