How do you know about your world?

Usually, I find out most of my news from TV news channels, like Fox and ABC. Online, my favorite news outlet is AOL.com (http://www.aol.com/). It's easy to just go on AOL news and find out the most recent events, right before I check my mail. However, I do wish I was more informed than I am. I think it would be great if Facebook incorporated a "news" application, or had current events on the right-hand side of the screen (rather than distracting pictures), because I believe most of today's youth goes on Facebook a lot more than they do a news site.
