My name is Lindsey Mueller, I am a senior accounting major from West Bend, Wisconsin. I am hoping that this course will help give me a better understanding of what role the media plays in the globe today. I am interested to see the changes that have been made from years ago up until now. There are so many different media changes, like social networking sites that have caused our culture to become more reliant on the media.
I have enjoyed taking writing classes at BU they have all brought forth a different lesson. I took Television and American Culture this past fall and that class helped to open my eyes to what role Television played in our culture and I am hoping that this course also helps to open my eyes to what role media plays in the world. I am very excited to take this course and see what it will have to offer.
