Each morning over this Winter break I turn on my laptop and go directly to Yahoo.com. While serving as one of the many online media news outlets that I visit, it provides me with an array of different news, some more obscure than others, that I typically do not find on other online outlets. Yahoo news collects thirty six top stories from around the country and around the world and places them in a scroll bar on the center of the screen to sift through. It serves as a very quick source to retrieve any top news stories if I happen to be in a rush.
My true online media news source is NewYorkTimes.com. When I was younger, I always considered the New York Times to be a very mature newspaper and made it a point to begin reading it once I got older. I have been reading it online for the past few years and find that it does a great job covering every aspect of the news. The websites display is very professional yet holds a simplistic basis that makes it very easy to navigate throughout its different sections. I have gained an exceptional interest in the websites business section and also find myself reading most of its movie reviews.
